PARKRIDGE COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION: Board of Directors, Role Descriptions
The PCA board currently has 12 positions listed (2023 amendment).

President: Position Currently AVAILABLE
Responsible for the overall operation of the Community Association.
Shall supply leadership for all members.
Shall see that all meetings are carried out in an orderly fashion.
Shall see that all executive members are given the support and guidance required to carry out their assigned duties.
Shall be an ex-officio member of all committees.
Vice President: Position Currently AVAILABLE
Unless bound by other commitments, shall assist the President as required.
Secretary: Position Currently AVAILABLE
Responsible for all mailings, agendas, and information executive members of meetings.
Shall cause to keep an accurate record of all activities and meetings of the members.
Shall send out and receive all correspondence relating to the affairs of the Community Association.

Responsible for the financial affairs and payment of bills of the Community Association.
Responsible for keeping of all financial records of the Community Association.
The Treasurer shall keep the Board of Directors (BOD) informed of the financial position of the Organization on a monthly basis.
The Treasurer shall provide annual financial statement and a budget for the current season at the annual general meeting.
Shall ensure that an annual review, as required in the Bylaws, is carried out within 30 days of the year-end.
Director of Indoor Programs: Aaron Svendsen (indoorcoordinator.pca.sk@gmail.com)
Shall make arrangements for all registration nights.
Shall arrange through the Leisure Services Division, all programs shall make school bookings for all registrations, meetings, and programs.
Shall recruit and pay all program instructors.
Shall make all program grant applications and will issue follow-up reports where required.
Shall present a report at the conclusion of each program session.
Shall supervise all indoor programs
Shall attend all City of Saskatoon meetings as directed by the Association.
In addition:
Oversee the maintenance, repair, and replacement of all indoor program equipment.
Assist as required, with all program supervision.
Take a detailed inventory of all indoor equipment on a yearly basis, and where required, prepare a budget / estimate of new or replaced equipment.
Rink Director:
Shall coordinate a committee of volunteers to provide maintenance, repair, and upkeep for the association’s skating rink(s).
Shall coordinate the application for rink grants from the City of Saskatoon on a yearly basis.
Social Director: Position Currently AVAILABLE
Shall be responsible for the organizing of any / all social activities.
Shall be the chairperson of the Social Committee and may have as many members as they see fit on this committee.

Shall be responsible, when directed by the executive, for coordination of such publications, website and social media directed to the membership and residents of the Association that may include, but is not restricted to registrations, activities, programs, and any / all information the Board thinks would be of interest to the residents.
May form or coordinate a committee of as many members as they see fit to ensure that newsletters, website, and social media is available and distributed on a regular basis to the residents of the neighbourhood.
Determine and attempt to secure advertising for the newsletter, website, ad social media from businesses and organizations that may desire to inform the Association of their goods or services.
Director Duties
All coordinators will report on a monthly basis at the General Business Meeting.
All expenditures in excess of $50 must be approved by motion at a General Business Meeting.
All coordinators will be elected at the Annual General Meeting for a term of 2 years.
